This year 100 learner truck drivers are going to be granted with the unique opportunity of entering a new training programme, which is going to be fully funded by road freight services provider, DHL Freight.
Once their three-year training is finished, the new DHL Freight drivers will either join the Deutsche Post DHL, or start work with a DHL short-haul transportation partner. The road freight provider has promised to fund the training costs as well as the setup of the basic curriculum.

Stefen Paul, CEO of DHL Freight Germany, spoke of a shortage in professional truck drivers.
“That’s why we are now investing heavily in the training of younger drivers. For aspiring professional drivers, the DHL Freight training programme is a wonderful opportunity, since our wide network of branches offers excellent employment prospects”, so Paul.
